Mayor Joshua O. Brown

Joshua O. Brown is a lifelong resident of Bay Minette. He graduated from Baldwin County High School in 2011 and is a graduate from the University of South of Alabama. He serves as the Director of Sales for Local IT, LLC and is a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Bay Minette, AL.
District 1 Councilmember/Mayor Pro Tempore Pete Sellers

Pete Sellers is a lifelong resident of Bay Minette. He is a board member and past president of the Bay Minette Youth Baseball League. He is owner and General Manager for Gulf Coast Motors in Bay Minette. A 1996 graduate of Baldwin County High School, he and wife, Starla, have two children: Jorja and Jerry. The family attends First Presbyterian Church of Bay Minette.
Mike Phillips is a graduate of Baldwin County High School, Faulkner State Community College, and continue his education at the University of South Alabama. He has served on the Bay Minette City Council since 1996, including terms as Mayor Pro Tem and Finance Chairman. His civic involvement extends to the Planning & Zoning Board, North Baldwin Utilities Board, and Employee Services Committee.
Phillips has achieved the highest emeritus level of Municipal Officials training. He is a past board member of the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, where he served as its 50th president, chaired the Business Development Committee, and contributed to numerous other committees. He was honored as Volunteer of the Year.
A graduate of the Baldwin County United Leadership Class, Phillips later served as its board vice president. He has also contributed to the Industrial Development Board and chaired the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life Sponsorship Committee.
Phillips and his wife, Jenny, have two sons and three grandchildren. They are members of First Baptist Church of Bay Minette.
District 3 Council Member Matt Franklin

Matt Franklin is a long-time resident of Bay Minette and Realtor for Delta Realty. He has served as a member of the Industrial Development Board, North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, Public Building Authority, and the Bay Minette Board of Adjustments. He has also served as coach and board member for the Bay Minette Youth Baseball League. He and his wife, Megan, have two children: Emma and Matthee and the family attends First Baptist Church.
District 4 Council Member Tyrone Thompson

Tyrone Thompson was born in Bay Minette, Alabama and graduated from Baldwin County High School Class of 1987. He has one son (O’Brien) and one granddaughter (Montgomery). He retired from the Navy Reserves in 2017 as well as the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office in 2022. His favorite pastimes are cooking, traveling and karaoke.
District 5 Council Member Chris Norman, Sr.

Chris Norman, Sr. is a lifelong resident of Bay Minette. He is a retired Assistant Executive Director of the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Parole. A member of the Baldwin County High School Athletic Hall of Fame, who graduated from Baldwin County Highs School Class of 1979. He also, graduated from Alabama State University with a BS and Troy University with a MS. He is married to Donnis Norman, and they have two children, Chris, Jr. and Chrysanthemum; and two grandchildren. The family attends Trinity Chapel AME Church in Bay Minette.
