The 41st annual Christmas Fest will be held Dec. 1-2 in downtown Bay Minette. The festival, sponsored by the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, will include outdoor vendor and food booths and stage entertainment both days. The festival will open Friday, Dec. 1, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will include the tree lighting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Ping Pong Drop at 6 p.m. The festival continues Saturday, Dec. 2, with vendor booth spaces open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The annual Christmas Parade will roll at 4 p.m. beginning at Bay Minette Elementary School. The parade route will travel on 9th Street to Hoyle Avenue to First Street, to Pine Street, and then turning onto D’Olive Street and traveling around Courthouse Square before turning onto Hand Avenue and heading back to 9th Street/BMES.
