The Planning Commission and City staff have been collaborating with Volkert, Inc. to update the City's Comprehensive Plan, originally adopted in 2013. This long-range document will serve as a strategic roadmap for the community’s growth and development over the next five to ten years, ensuring that new projects align with the City's vision, infrastructure capacity, and quality-of-life goals. The plan is currently in the draft stage, following extensive data collection, public input, and analysis.
Residents can view the draft below and provide comments via email to COBM_Planning@cityofbayminetteal.gov. Residents are also welcome to attend the Planning Commission's meetings to provide input. The Planning Commission meets on the first Thursday of each month at 8:00 AM in the City Council Chambers, and all meetings are open to the public.
